When the mixture flows past the two thermometers, the dry bulb thermometer shows the temperature of the stream, while water evaporates from the wick and its temperature falls.

Questa temperatura è molto vicina alla temperatura di saturazione adiabatica se trascuriamo il il calore trasferito dovuto alla convezione.
